Half Term break

I’m not one for running excitedly to the Doctor or Dentist. In fact, I would rather run the opposite way to the Dentist and more so now every visit seems to result in bills for mucho money. It can put a real damper on the break and that is quite something when the weather is doing its best to do the same. Having two children younger than 11 means every opportunity to enjoy them is important, despite their best attempts to be annoying and irritating – wet weather and lack of fresh air / cake only makes them stroppy and prone to highly unnecessary arguments. At the same time it does enforce some rest – they both look like a whitewash bucket has been tipped over them and enforced rest is probably no bad thing. Along with the break, marking of work and thinking of job applications are forming weaves in the rich tapestry of my existence…..still, sausages later.
